Statement of purpose

The principle purposes of the association is to:
Promote and encourage the understanding of Australia’s rich performing arts history.

In order to achieve this principle purpose, the association shall engage in the following activities:

1. Undertake research into Australia’s performing arts history
2. Digitise historic documents, including moving images and audio, relating to the performing arts
3. Promote and publish this and other related information to enhance public knowledge
4. Encourage the identification, documentation and preservation of items relating to Australia’s performing arts history.
5. Encourage the preservation of Australia’s performance spaces
